Uniting Early Learning Aspley is seeking a passionate Centre Cook to join our welcoming team. Working 2 days per week, you'll prepare nutritious meals and snacks that support children's health, wellbeing and development while enjoying the benefit of regular daytime hours with no evenings or weekends.
We're seeking a Centre Cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in our welcoming Aspley centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone returning to the workforce, seeking supplementary income, or looking for a rewarding role in a supportive team.
About the Role
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Cater for dietary and allergy requirements
- Maintain food safety and kitchen compliance standards
- Manage food ordering, storage and stock rotation
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised

About You
- Experience in a commercial, childcare, aged care or similar kitchen setting
- Food Handler and/or Food Safety Certificate
- Understanding of food safety and dietary requirements
- Current First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Blue Card, or ability to obtain
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
