About the Role

We are seeking reliable, caring, and motivated Support Workers/Cleaners to join our growing team. This role involves providing domestic assistance and basic support services to elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment while promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

- General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
- Laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen
- Assisting clients with light household tasks
- Grocery shopping and running basic errands when required
- Providing companionship and social support
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided
- Following individual care plans and company policies
- Reporting any concerns regarding client wellbeing to management

About You

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (current)
- Working rights in Australia
- Smartphone for accessing rosters and work information

Desirable

- Previous experience in aged care, disability support, community care, or domestic assistance
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Community) or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with elderly clients
