Joeys Pre-School & Early Learning Centre is seeking a vibrant, motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher. As Early Childhood Teacher you will be responsible for development and implementation of high-quality program as well as guiding and mentoring other educators within the centre.

Joeys Pre-School & Early Learning Centre is a privately owned and operated long day care centre located in Morpeth.

The service is supported by a strong management and leadership team consisting of the Nominated Supervisor, and Approved Provider.

The educational leader guides a dedicated team of experienced Educators in the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs.

Experience

The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education. They will have the skills and experience in developing and implementing educational programs.

They will have a proven ability to build and nurture respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with co-workers, the community,



children and their families.

The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly is essential.

Selection Criteria

- Previous experience in a similar role;
- ACECQA approved University Degree in Education (Early Childhood)
- Current Working with Children Check;
- National Police Clearance Certificate;
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates;
- Child Protection Certificate;
- A clear understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- A clear understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Flexibility to complete variety of shifts

Pay: $43.81 – $56.38 per hour
