About the Role:
We’re seeking a safety-focused Operations Technician (Forklift Operator) to join our busy Modular Building Hire Yard in Dandenong.
This role is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading and positioning of portable modular buildings, site offices, lunchrooms, amenities and associated equipment.
The role also involves general yard duties, equipment inspections and maintaining a safe and organised work workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 16-tonne forklift safely and efficiently
- Load, unload and relocate modular buildings
- Assist with preparing buildings for delivery and collection
- Maintain a clean,
safe and organised yard
- Follow all WHS policies and procedures
- Assist with general yard operations as required
About You:
- Current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift - LF)
- Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts (up to 16 tonnes)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
