Support Worker (Independent Contractor)

Little Miss Bizzy is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and compassionate Independent Support Worker to join our team to support a 19-year-old participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and has experience supporting young adults to build independence, confidence and life skills.

About the Role

- Casual/Contractor position
- 2–3 shifts per week
- 3–4 hour shifts
- Location: Doolandella, QLD
- Immediate start available

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Current Public Liability Insurance (and Skilled Indemnity Insurance if applicable)
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Current National Police Check
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional, reliable and compassionate approach

Experience Required





Applicants must have significant experience supporting participants with:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Challenging behaviours (if applicable)
- Emotional regulation
- Capacity building and promoting independence

Experience supporting young adults is highly regarded.

Contractor Information

This is an Independent Contractor position.

Successful applicants are responsible for:

- Managing their own tax obligations
- Managing their own superannuation (where applicable)
- Maintaining all required insurances and certifications
- Providing invoices with their ABN
