We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Service Technician to join our dynamic John Deere team in Taree. This chance can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on what suits you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Service Technician, you will:

- Work across a variety of equipment, with a strong focus on servicing and repairs including:

1. Mowers, Gators and small tractors
2. Servicing and repairs from pre-delivery through to full machine rebuilds
3. A mix of workshop-based repairs and some tractor/light construction equipment work
4. Installing and fitting attachments such as loaders
5. General workshop repairs across agricultural and light construction equipment

- Accurately record all work completed, including parts used and time taken
- Keep the workshop tidy and take care of tools, machines and equipment
- Work closely with the team and customers to identify service needs and provide solutions
- Follow all safety procedures and represent the company professionally on-site

What We’re Looking For





- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic/Small Motor Mechanic (or equivalent )
- Hands-on experience with serving and repairs across a range of equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Outstanding communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
- Valid driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia
- Safety focused, solutions driven, and keen to learn and grow
- A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results

This role requires specific certifications or licenses; we’ll request them later in the recruitment process.
