Location flexible across WA

Transform Life is looking for a Proficient or Advanced Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner to step into a meaningful leadership role within our Western Australian team.

This is not a role where you are expected to carry a full caseload while “helping out” with leadership on the side. A significant part of your role will focus on leading, mentoring and lifting capability across the team, alongside a reduced local caseload that keeps you connected to clinical practice.

Why This Role Is Worth Considering

- Flexible location across WA — work from home, with local client work and in-person team connection where needed
- Reduced clinical caseload so you can properly focus on leadership, supervision and team development
- Quarterly bonuses, plus monthly incentives
- Career development support, including progression towards Advanced or Specialist BSP level
- Equipment provided, with autonomy to manage your work in a way that suits your life
- Genuine seat at the Leadership table, contribute ideas and influence nationally
- Strong support from experienced Senior PBS Leaders, including a National PBS Manager based in WA

Our recent nomination for Excellence in Allied Health at the WA Disability Support Awards reflects the quality of the team already in place and the momentum we are building across the State. This is an prospect to step into a strong team, build on what is already working and help take it further.

The Role
You will provide leadership, clinical guidance and practical support to a team of eight Practitioners across WA. Your responsibilities will include:

- Contribute your ideas and insights during fortnightly National Managers meetings

- Providing supervision, mentoring and practical coaching to your team
- Supporting the onboarding and early development of new team members
- Guiding practitioners through complex cases, risk considerations and clinical decision-making
- Identifying capability gaps and actively lifting practice standards across the team
- Creating a positive, connected and accountable culture across a remote workforce
- Building engagement through regular communication, collaboration and in-person team catch-ups
- Having constructive conversations when performance, confidence or clinical practice needs attention
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support
- Providing senior clinical input on complex cases when needed

What Will Make You Successful?
You will be confident, grounded and able to positively influence others. You will likely bring:

- Strong initiative and accountability
- Confidence to have constructive conversations when needed
- The ability to balance independence with genuine teamwork
- A calm, practical approach in complex or high-pressure situations
- A real interest in developing other clinicians, not simply managing them
- The ability to set clear expectations while remaining approachable and supportive
- Registration as a Proficient or Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, supervising and leading others
- Strong clinical capability in behaviour support planning, implementation and complex case work
- Previous experience in social work, disability, mental health, education, corrections or a related field
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
