About us:
The primary catchment of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services cover the Cairns and Hinterland region incorporating various areas ranging from Mossman in the north, Tully in the south to Mareeba and Atherton in the west. Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provide a range of innovative services, staffed by multidisciplinary teams with a broad mix of skills, knowledge and professional backgrounds. These currently include Community Services, Specialised Services, Acute and Sub-Acute Bed Based Services, Access Services and Rural Remote and Indigenous Services.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will...
Serve as a positive role model, connecting with clients and staff to provide a positive example of recovery and act as a source of information by drawing on personal experiences of mental health issues, substance use and recovery.
Apply thoughtful and ethical decision making, with support and guidance as required,
to act within operational and professional boundaries.
Adhere to the timely and accurate input and collection of client related information and provision of service activity into appropriate applications.
Demonstrate healthy personal boundaries when working with clients, support persons, staff and other stakeholders.
