For You Support Allied Health Services is a growing Brisbane-based allied health provider committed to delivering accessible, high-quality and person-centred care.

We are developing strong partnerships with established GP practices across Brisbane’s South, East and West, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. As our referral network continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist to join our team.

About the Opportunity

This is an independent contractor position initially available for approximately one day per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours as your caseload grows.

You will provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment to a diverse client group, backed by a warm referral base and administrative support from day one. Sessions will be delivered from skilled consulting rooms located within established GP practices, as well as via telehealth where appropriate.

This opportunity will suit a Physiotherapist seeking greater flexibility and autonomy while still benefiting from referrals, administrative assistance and the support of a multidisciplinary team.

About your Role

- Providing physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based therapeutic treatments
- Developing collaborative treatment plans based on each client’s goals and circumstances
- Delivering both face-to-face and telehealth appointments
- Maintaining accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation
- Communicating effectively with clients, GPs and other relevant professionals
- Contributing to coordinated, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment
- Building a consistent caseload through our growing GP referral network





About You

You are an experienced, ethical and approachable Physiotherapist who understands that strong therapeutic relationships are central to positive outcomes.

You will ideally have:

- Full registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
- Relevant recognised qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience
- An active ABN and current professional indemnity insurance
- A Medicare provider number or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong clinical reasoning, exercise prescription and patient education skills, with a track record of building genuine therapeutic alliances with clients
- A clear, empathetic communicative approach, promoting client self-efficacy and involving clients in their own care
- Committed to continual learning and professional development
- Relevant specialised certifications; sports injury, neurological conditions, paediatric care highly regarded
- Experience in one or more treatment approaches — manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy — highly regarded
- A collaborative approach that actively involves clients in decisions about their care
- Confidence providing both in-person and telehealth services
- The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a supportive team
- Reliable availability for agreed consulting days
- Contactable professional references
