Are you an experienced employee or industrial relations professional looking for an opportunity to influence workplace outcomes, guide leaders through complex people matters, and contribute to meaningful organisational change?

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking a Senior Adviser, Employee Relations to join the Employee and Industrial Relations team. In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with leaders across the organisation to provide industrially sound advice.

About the role

You'll partner with managers and supervisors to deliver sound, defensible solutions that promote fair, consistent and timely outcomes across the organisation.

You will provide high-level advice and support across a broad range of employee relations matters including:

Complex case management
Interpretation of awards, agreements and policy
Representation in consultative forums
Preparation of sensitive correspondence, reports and briefings
Advocacy in matters before the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission
Data analysis and workforce insights to support decision-making

About you

We're seeking a collaborative and adaptable professional who can confidently build relationships, navigate complex workplace matters, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

To be successful, you will bring:
Experience providing employee relations,



industrial relations or complex case management support in the federal or state jurisdiction
Strong written communication skills and the ability to prepare complex correspondence and reports
Knowledge of workplace legislation, industrial instruments and employment frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to delivering skilled, ethical and respectful customer service outcomes

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
