Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

- 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
- 2 days from an RACP office location per week,

Job Description

The primary purpose of the STP Senior Project Officer is to manage all STP funded Projects including Support Projects, FATES projects and any other Special Projects approved by the Department of Health & Aged Care (DoHAC). The role is also responsible for managing the STP application rounds and maintaining the STP website along with processing progress reports.

Your responisbilities:





- Manage all STP Support Projects, FATES Projects and any Special Projects approved by the Commonwealth Department of Health & Aged Care
- Manage all aspects of each project to ensure all contracts, reporting and other requirements are met
- Guide development of STP policies and processes to ensure all processes are completely and accurately documented and updated as required
- Liaise with STP project staff with specific questions or difficulties with the Program to resolve problems
- Oversee documentation of funding agreements with STP project sites
- Support the Manager to coordinate activities associated with application rounds for STP funding, as required by DoH
- Assist with the regular maintenance and updates to the STP website
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the project objectives are being met including evaluation activities.
- Assist in the coordination of communications about STP to other parties, including articles in newsletters, website information and broadcast emails to relevant parties
- Assist with processing progress reports when required
- Assist with other activities when required

Desired Skills and Experience

Your experience:

- Previous experience in project management
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to interact and establish good working relationships with people at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of high-stakes projects
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines and stakeholder expectations
- Demonstrated high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
