Troppus IT & Management is a fast-growing managed services provider located in East Victoria Park. We are looking for a ‘switched on’ Level 3 Senior Systems Engineer with proven experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.

The position offers a challenging role in a dynamic and friendly team setting. The successful candidate will be working with a team of support engineers to provide proactive desktop and server support for a range of business customers across multiple industries.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide consulting services to customers
- Assist with any escalated engineering tickets
- Plan and execute high level project works from inception to completion
- Manage/assist with projects (new deployments, migrations and upgrades)
- Subject matter expert on core areas of business whilst maintaining broad knowledge of other
- technology stacks
- Providing on-site & remote IT & Communications support to clients
- Assist with helpdesk phone support as a final escalation and as required
- Assist with site installations as required
- Contact for customers via phone support
- Setup and configuration of computers and peripheral equipment
- Maintain the office workplace and equipment
- Prepare devices for deployment
- Backup and dashboard monitoring and maintenance
- Assist with pickups and deliveries
- Assist, train and mentor other staff members as required
- Travel to work directly at client site locations from time to time (including regional, national and
- international)
- Document client network information and procedures
- Maintain suitable and timely logs and documentation for all hours and work done
- Any other task or activity requested for which the incumbent has the skills and knowledge

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICTIONS

- Advanced networking certification
- ConnectWise PSA
- Nable RMM

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICTIONS:





- Minimum 4 years industry experience as a Level 3 Systems Engineer
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent
- Experience configuring and administering MS Windows Servers
- Experience configuring and administering MS Exchange Servers
- Experience configuring and administering Azure solutions
- Experience configuring and administering Microsoft 365 solutions
- Experience implementing virtualisation solutions
- Experience configuring and administering managed switches and routers & firewalls
- Experience in configuring and administering backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience in managing cloud hosted infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Experience in managing co location and data centre infrastructure
- Experience in advanced security solutions
- SD-WAN Technology
- PSA and RMM experience
- Self-motivated and able to work quickly and efficiently without supervision
- Strong work ethics, initiative and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- The ability to be a productive and collaborative team member
- The ability to mentor junior team member
- Strong organisational, time management and planning skills
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Any certifications or vaccinations required for Client site visits
- Acceptable National Police Clearance

The remuneration package will be negotiated based on your relevant skills and experience.
