The Opportunity

Moreton Hospitality is seeking Chefs & Cooks of all levels – from Commis Chefs and Cooks through to CDPs and Senior Chefs – to join our growing team in Broadbeach. We have opportunities available across casual, part time, and full time roles.

Working from a shared central kitchen, you’ll contribute to the culinary success of two of Broadbeach’s most dynamic venues:

- The Beach Hotel Broadbeach – a vibrant coastal pub blending relaxed beachside vibes with all-day dining, classic pub favourites, and local hero dishes. With live entertainment, a strong local following, and a spacious beer garden, this is a community hub with a casual yet elevated food offering.
- Cora Restaurant – a modern bistro-style space offering fresh, seasonal dishes in a laid-back, welcoming setting. Perfect for long lunches and relaxed dinners, Cora brings creativity and comfort together through its ever-evolving menu and warm hospitality.

This is a unique opportunity to work across two distinct concepts, supported by one purpose-built kitchen and a strong, collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard.
- Assist with prep, mise en place, and plating.
- Follow recipes, portioning, and stock rotation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace.
- Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
- Support teamwork across kitchen and back-of-house operations.
- For senior roles: lead a section, supervise staff, and mentor juniors.
- Work as part of a positive,



solutions-focused team.

About You

- Culinary qualifications (Cert III/IV) are desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen setting is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for great food and hospitality.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
