About the role

As a Healthcare Ambassador, you will work within the Healthcare Security team and alongside clinical staff, to provide a proactive, people-centred approach to engage with individuals in designated clinical areas, helping to reduce anxiety, enhance the patient experience and support positive behaviours. This is a unique, non-traditional role that focuses on building rapport, providing reassurance and using effective communication and verbal de-escalation techniques to assist people who may be experiencing distress, confusion or frustration.

Continually monitors and actively patrols the designated clinical areas and proactively engages with patients, visitors and staff to develop a positive safety culture.

alleviating some of the stresses and anxiety through respectful interpersonal interactions.
