We're hiring a Disability Support Worker in Tarneit, VIC, 3029.

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is looking for a caring and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a young female participant in her home.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and participate in their community.

About You:

We are looking for a support worker who is:

- Female (participant preference).
- Tagalog or Indonesian speaking.
- Experienced supporting people with Cerebral Palsy and complex physical disabilities.
- Confident with personal care, manual handling and mobility support.
- Reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with families and support teams.
- Comfortable supporting alternative and non-verbal communication methods.

About the Role:

The participant has a physical disability and requires support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and communication.

The successful applicant will support the participant to:

- Maintain independence and wellbeing through daily personal care support.
- Assist with showering, dressing, hygiene, and continence care.
- Support safe transfers and mobility using prescribed equipment.
- Encourage participation in exercise and mobility activities.
- Assist with communication strategies and promote choice and independence.




- Access the community and participate in meaningful activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support respectfully and inclusively.

Shifts Available:

- Monday to Sunday (TBC on exact days).
- Starting with shifts from 12pm - 3pm.

Compliance Requirements:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Preferably driving with a full Australian driver’s licence, own car with comprehensive car insurance.
