About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced HVACR Technician to join a growing HVAC hire specialist based in Perth. Following the award of a major new project, the business is looking to strengthen its technical team with an experienced professional who enjoys a varied role across the workshop, yard and customer sites.
Unlike traditional service and maintenance roles, this position focuses on commissioning and decommissioning temporary HVAC and chiller equipment, preparing units for hire, maintaining the rental fleet and supporting commercial projects across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Commission and decommission temporary HVAC and chiller equipment on customer sites
- Prepare, test and inspect equipment prior to dispatch
- Maintain and repair the HVAC rental fleet within the workshop and yard
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Attend commercial customer sites to install, commission and remove equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
- Work closely with the operations team to deliver projects efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and equipment documentation
About You
- Qualified HVACR Technician or Refrigeration Mechanic
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Previous experience working on chiller systems is essential
- Electrical licence or dual trade qualifications would be highly advantageous but are not essential
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Full Australian Driver's Licence
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
