As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about mechanical design, project delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Designing mechanical equipment, machinery, components, products and engineering systems in accordance with client specifications and Australian Standards.
- Preparing engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications and documentation for mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Developing manufacturing specifications and determining appropriate materials, equipment, piping systems, material flows, plant capacities and layouts.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, technical documentation and project requirements to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and client expectations.
- Conducting engineering analysis to improve equipment performance, operational efficiency and production processes.
- Assisting in the planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Organising and managing project resources, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.




- Establishing and maintaining engineering standards, quality control procedures, testing, inspection and maintenance requirements in accordance with engineering principles and workplace safety regulations.
- Inspecting mechanical equipment and plant to ensure optimum operational performance and recommending maintenance or design improvements where required.
- Coordinating maintenance activities, equipment upgrades and engineering modifications to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams to provide technical advice and engineering support.
- Preparing engineering reports, design documentation and project progress updates.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards, workplace health and safety legislation, and quality management systems.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in engineering design, manufacturing processes and project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering qualification.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of full time experience as a Mechanical Engineer in engineering consultancy, manufacturing, industrial, construction or a related engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical design,



engineering documentation and project coordination.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, Revit or other relevant CAD platforms.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, materials selection and engineering standards.
- Experience preparing technical specifications, engineering calculations and project documentation.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, workplace health and safety requirements and quality assurance systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
