The Prospect

As part of our expansion into Western Australia, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Founding Centre Director to play a key role in establishing two brand-new Bright Steps Academy services located in Mandurah and Kwinana.

During the establishment phase, you will oversee both centres and lead the groundwork required to ensure each service is successfully prepared for opening. This includes:

- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- Building a positive and collaborative team culture
- Implementing systems and processes
- Supporting occupancy growth and family engagement
- Creating welcoming environments for children, families, and educators
- Ensuring each service is set up for long-term success

Once both services are operational,



you will transition into the role of Centre Director at one location while continuing to provide leadership support, mentoring, and guidance to the second service. Working closely with both leadership teams, you will help maintain consistency, quality, and a strong culture across both centres.
This role is ideal for an experienced leader who enjoys building services from the ground up and wants to make a lasting impact within a growing organisation.

What You'll Bring

- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Centre Director or in a senior leadership role within early childhood education
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, National Law and Regulations
- Proven experience leading teams and driving centre performance
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for developing people and creating high-quality learning environments
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for supporting multiple services during their growth phase
