We're looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Donut Decorator & Food Preparation Assistant to join our growing hospitality team across our Quick Service Restaurant brands.
This is a hybrid role, working between two well-known café and food brands, where no two days are the same. You'll spend your mornings decorating fresh donuts, preparing food products, and ensuring both stores are ready for trade.

About the Role
This position involves working across both our Donut King and Gloria Jean's locations at Maitland Central.
Your day will start early, allowing you to enjoy early finishes , making it ideal for someone who prefers mornings.
Key Responsibilities
- Decorate fresh donuts to company presentation standards.
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps and other fresh food products.
- Ensure products are prepared on time and ready for daily trade.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Rotate stock and monitor product freshness.
- Keep kitchen and preparation areas clean, organised and well stocked.
- Assist with stock control and daily production planning.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in food preparation, bakery, café or commercial kitchen environments.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in product presentation.
- Works efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Is reliable, punctual and enjoys early morning starts.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Holds a current Drivers Licence.
- Holds a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable, but not essential).
