Our workshops carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs of our fleet of over 110 prime movers, which comprise mainly Kenworth big cab K200’s with an average age of 3.5 years. The work also involves some out of hours and call out work as required.
How we pay
All of our workshop staff are covered by the Greenfreight Services Wodonga Workshop Enterprise Agreement. Our current shift structure is as follows:
- Day shift generally from 5am to 3pm paid at $37.71 for the first 8 hours plus 1.5 hours overtime at time and a half of the day rate of $37.71 accruing up to 2 hours of RDO each week (accruing 0.4 hours of RDO for each eight hour day worked).
- Afternoon shift, when offered,
commences at 10am until 8pm and is paid at $43.37 for the first 8 hours plus 1.5 hours overtime at time and a half of the shift rate of $43.37 accruing up to 2 hours of RDO each week (accruing 0.4 hours of RDO for each eight-hour day worked).
- Overtime on Saturdays is often offered and is paid at the first three hours at time and a half of the day rate of $37.71. The remaining hours are paid at double time at $37.71
The Greenfreight Enterprise Agreement also includes a more generous tool allowance than the Award.
