About the Role
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, ensuring ingredient availability, and supporting efficient production operations within the Syrup Room. Working closely with the Syrup Makers, you'll assist with ingredient pre-weighing, batching activities, stock control, and inventory optimisation to ensure uninterrupted production and exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Manage Syrup Room inventory, ensuring ingredients and raw materials are available to meet production requirements.
- Perform ingredient pre-weighing and preparation activities in accordance with batch specifications and production schedules.
- Support the Syrup Maker's with batching operations to ensure the timely production of beverage formulations.
- Complete inventory transactions, stock counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, housekeeping and compliance within the Syrup Room.
Skills & Experience
- Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent), with strong numeracy and computer skills.
- Current driver’s licence and valid forklift licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail with solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety and food hygiene practices.
