About the Role
You’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating all transport loading activities to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant dispatch operations. Working closely with logistics and operational teams, you’ll help optimise schedules, manage resources, and support continuous improvement across the loading process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-shift loading operations to meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure all loading activities comply with safety regulations and internal standards
- Work collaboratively with logistics and operations teams to streamline workflows
- Coach, train,
and support loading staff including performance monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and inventory information
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a transport or logistics environment.
- Robust understanding of safety regulations and best practices in loading operations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software related to transport coordination.
- Load scanner exposure highly regarded
- Forklift ticket required
- HR/HC license highly regarded
