The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality & Technical Manager will take ownership of our Quality, Safety and Environmental performance, while also playing a key technical role in current product development and sourcing. You'll work hand-in-hand with our external consultants to roll out new systems, embed them into everyday operations, and keep us audit- and certification-ready — and you'll be the technical/quality voice at the table when we evaluate new products and suppliers. This is a hands-on role spanning quality assurance, WHS/OHS, product development and technical sourcing, with environmental management also part of the mix.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing, implementing and maintaining our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
- Planning and conducting product testing and quality checks for new products, plus ongoing quality checks on existing products.
- Leading the technical and quality evaluation of new products and new suppliers, working closely with sourcing/procurement.
- Reviewing supplier technical documentation, test reports and compliance certifications, and providing sign-off before products launch.
- Leading WHS/OHS management in line with ISO 45001:2018 — risk assessments, incident investigations, training and compliance.




- Supporting our Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015).
- Conducting internal audits, managing non-conformances and driving corrective actions.
- Partnering with our external consultants on the progressive rollout of new policies, manuals and procedures.
- Delivering training and building a strong quality and safety culture across the business.
- Reporting on quality, safety, product and environmental performance to senior management.

What We're Looking For

- Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Product Development, WHS or a related field, plus Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent).
- 3–5+ years' experience in a Quality, Technical or WHS role, ideally in manufacturing, import or production settings.
- Experience in new product development and technical/quality evaluation of suppliers, including reviewing test reports and compliance documentation.
- Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
- Confident communicator who can train, influence and engage people at every level of the business.
- Strong organisational and technical skills, with a genuine passion for quality, product and safety.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
