Registered Nurse – General Practice (Permanent Part-Time)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive General Practice team on a permanent part-time basis, working 2–3 days per week.
As a Registered Nurse within our practice, you will play a key role in providing compassionate, patient-centred care while working alongside our doctors and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and health education
- Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and general patient care
- Administering medications and vaccines in accordance with practice protocols
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Triaging patient phone calls and managing patient enquiries
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing degree (essential)
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous General Practice experience preferred but not essential
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in clinical software and electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
