What you will do





As senior technical field officer, you will support and maintain technology services across department locations.

You will fix technical issues, improve services and help deliver reliable technology that staff can depend on.

You will:

- deliver field-based ICT support, maintenance and user assistance across department sites
- provide technical advice, resolve infrastructure and desktop issues and support technology projects
- manage IT incidents, service requests, testing and problem resolution using approved tools and processes
- help improve reliable and resilient technology services through new ideas and continuous improvement
- support team learning, share knowledge and complete other duties as directed by your manager.

About you

A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification is highly desirable. Industry certifications such as ITIL, project management, agile, software, platform, cloud, service management or change management are also highly desirable.

You should also have:

- strong technical skills in installing, supporting and troubleshooting desktop computers, mobile devices, printers, video conferencing, applications and secure authentication
- experience delivering field-based ICT services in a large and complex organisation while improving service quality
- the ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships




- knowledge of emerging technologies and a focus on continuous improvement and reliable service delivery.
