We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Site Measurer to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our projects, ensuring all stone and tiling works are accurately measured prior to fabrication and installation.
You will be responsible for translating real site conditions into accurate measurements and clear information for our workshop and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend residential and commercial sites to carry out detailed mark-ups for stone and tiling works
- Accurately measure areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors, walls, stairs, and outdoor spaces
- Assess site conditions, including levels, angles, out-of-square walls, and structural irregularities
- Identify potential installation issues before production to avoid delays or rework
- Prepare clear sketches, templates, and measurement documentation for fabrication
- Interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and client specifications
- Liaise with builders, clients,
and internal teams to confirm scope and requirements
- Ensure all measurements are completed with a high level of precision
Skills & Experience
- Experience in site measuring within stone masonry, tiling, cabinetry, carpentry or construction
- Strong understanding of stone products (e.g., benchtops, splashbacks) and/or tiling layouts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using laser measuring tools and manual measuring equipment
- Confident communicator with the ability to deal directly with clients and trades
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
