THE ROLE
The Senior Intelligence Analyst, Worker Screening Intelligence and Compliance leads a defined area of the branch's comprehensive, proactive and technology-led collection and analysis capability, while guiding and supporting the analysts who deliver it.
Leveraging data analytics and digital tools, the role coordinates the production of intelligence that informs operational screening and compliance decision-making, in fulfilment of the worker screening regulatory responsibilities of the Social SSR under the Worker Screening Act 2020 (Vic).
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
- Translate the branch's intelligence-led, risk-based approach into explicit team priorities, work plans and standards.
- Lead, support and develop team members to deliver high-quality outcomes, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and accountable team culture.
- Quality-assure intelligence assessments and compliance findings and make or endorse decisions and responses within delegation, ensuring they are proportionate, defensible and consistent.
Operate and help maintain information-sharing arrangements that enhance SSR's visibility of worker safety risks, and resolve operational issues with partners.
