Are you a passionate and experienced chef looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen? Aussie Adda Cafe & Restaurant is seeking a skilled Chef with expertise in subcontinental cuisine to join our team in Werribee.

About Us:
Aussie Adda Cafe & Restaurant has been serving breakfast and lunch to the Wyndham community for years. We also supply lunches to schools in the Werribee area. Due to increasing demand for subcontinental food, we have recently expanded our menu and launched dinner service, making it an exciting time to be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing a diverse menu, specializing in subcontinental cuisine.




-Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
-Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently met.
-Assist with inventory control, food ordering, and stock management.
-Monitor kitchen operations and provide hands-on support during peak hours.
-Develop and refine recipes to enhance the dining experience.
-Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health regulations.
-Prepare, Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

-Proven at least 1 year experience as a Chef, preferably in a subcontinental or Bangladeshi cuisine setting.

-Relevant Diploma required.
-Strong knowledge of subcontinental spices, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
-Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment.
-Leadership skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
-Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
