About our prospect:

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Rowville. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role is responsible for overseeing the hour-to-hour activities of production, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while optimising efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate production operations on a shift basis, to meet demand and efficiency targets.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP, HSE standards).
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Ensure timely and accurate production confirmation data entry into SAP while identifying and investigate inconsistencies.
- Coordinate and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching and feedback.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.

About You:

- Degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science or related field




- Leadership skills and ability to drive results
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is highly desirable
