About the Role

As a Cellar Door Staff Member, you’ll be the face of our winery - guiding guests through tastings, sharing our story, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers variety, from hosting tastings to assisting with events and contributing to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and provide an exceptional cellar door experience
- Host guided wine tastings, sharing knowledge about our wines, vineyard, and winemaking process
- Drive sales of wine, merchandise, and club memberships
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room and surrounding areas
- Assist in setting up and hosting events, private tastings, and tours
- Manage bookings and guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Restock shelves,



merchandise displays, and tasting supplies
- Follow responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines at all times
- Contribute positively to a supportive and collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For

- Friendly, engaging personality with strong communication skills
- A passion for wine and willingness to learn
- Previous cellar door, hospitality, or retail experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required
- Reliable, skilled, and customer-focused attitude
- RSA certification (or willingness to obtain)
