Swimming Teacher required to start immediately in Term 3, 2026. We have a Wednesday (3pm to 7pm) shift available for a teacher with the minimum qualification of Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety. Relief shifts also available.
Swim Teacher required for classes that range from beginners to children learning all 4 strokes. Essential requirement - AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia or RLS Australia qualification - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety. Current CPR and WWCC. Experience is desired but not essential. Training/Support will be provided as a hand over in the first few weeks of employment.
The candidate needs to have a friendly attitude, be reliable and punctual and enthusiastic to develop the children in their shift.
The pool is indoors and specially designed for swimming teaching and is heated to 33 degrees. Only one teacher and one class in the pool at any one time. UV/Ozone secondary sanitisation provides hygienic and low odour/low irritant water.
Only Austswim, Swim Australia or RLS Australia qualified teachers with current CPR and Working With Children's Check will be considered.
