Description:
THE ROLE

As a casual Safety and Security Officer, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe and welcoming setting for our team members, guests and contractors. Your day-to-day will include:

- Roving and static monitoring of the entire Centre
- Attending to team member and guest incidents




- Attending to first aid requirements
- Assisting with guest enquiries
- Control room monitoring
- Issuing and controlling contractor passes

ABOUT YOU

You're a people-focused professional who takes safety seriously and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. You'll bring:

Essential requirements:

- QLD Security Licence including Security Officer (unarmed), Crowd Controller and Security Officer (monitoring)
- Current Apply First Aid Certificate with CPR
- QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment

In addition to:

- A genuine willingness and passion to work with people to help and assist
- Excellent customer service experience obtained from a busy guest-facing role
- Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
- A commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to champion a safety culture
- Availability to work a variety of shifts (Monday to Sunday)
