To provide leadership, operational management and clinical governance of Aged Care teams and services across the Far West LHD.

About the Far West LHD
The Far West Local Health District is one of 15 LHDs under NSW Health, providing high quality public health services to the communities in far west NSW. FWLHD has a mandate to provide the highest quality care and services to its communities using the latest clinical evidence and technological enablers. How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with at least five years' experience and appropriate post graduate qualifications (or willingness to completed within three years of commencement) Or Any other health relevant tertiary qualifications with at least five years' experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role, function and funding of Aged Care Services within Australia and NSW Health.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading diverse teams to deliver key strategic priorities, planning & policy development.
- Demonstrated contemporary leadership including supporting a positive workplace culture, motivate and inspire others.
- Demonstrated display of high-level analytical skills to make decisions, solve unusual and complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing aged care in multiple sites.
- Current driver’s license and ability and willingness to travel in rural and remote areas.
