Wokitup! Noodle Bar is a well-established Asian-style restaurant chain operating across the ACT and surrounding regions. As our business continues to grow steadily, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our friendly team at our Belconnen location.

Position Description – Cook

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning and cooking food in accordance with our menu and quality standards.

We are looking for someone who can work minimum 20 hrs.

Monday 4:00-9:15pm

Tuesday 4:00 -9:15

Wednesday 10:30-4:00 pm

Thursday 10:30-4:00 pm

Weekends depending on rosters.

Your duties will include:

- Preparing, seasoning and cooking menu items
- Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is prepared to perfection
- Washing, peeling and cutting meat and vegetables ready for cooking
- Receiving and examining food supplies to ensure quality and quantity standards are met
- Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities and monitoring food quality and shelf life
- Ensuring cooking equipment is maintained in a clean and reusable condition




- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and an organised workspace
- Collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Reporting to the manager regarding workflow, equipment, food safety and workplace safety matters

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Wok Skills (Desirable but need to learn)
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting
