PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive General Manager Power Services assumes a strategic role in the overall definition of the
Power and Water strategy from a Power Services Delivery and Asset Management perspective to ensure continuity of power supply to all customers
in the Northern Territory through power assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered

Strategy and Development
Overarching strategic responsibility for the power network and generation systems including:

- Definition of the Power Services strategy, including the development and assessment of future power system strategies and solutions,
- Delivery of the process to drive Power Services business unit and network performance supported by data analytics,
- Management of the network access for third party connections and the master planning of distribution system augmentation,
- Management of the design and development of the distribution network for developers and stakeholders, and
- Execution of regulatory reporting requirements.

Reporting and Improvement
Overarching responsibility to coordinate reporting and improvement for Power Services:

- Identification and development of innovation and improvement in Power service delivery supported by data analytics,
- Coordinate delivery of improvement projects and implement business initiatives, including change programs,
- Collate operational, system, and health and safety performance data,



report on compliance to targets, coordinate the delivery of regulatory

reporting requirements, and execute process monitoring and process auditing to support asset and engineering change.

Power Engineering
Overarching responsibility for the provision of specialist engineering and advanced support services to ensure delivery of the maintenance and capital
works programs, including complex project development.

Asset Management
Overarching responsibility for the development and maintenance of asset management plans (SAMPs and AMPS), delivery of reliability programs,
definition of asset data requirements, and asset documentation management and audit activity.
Monitoring supplier and technology landscapes for new asset management innovations.

Service Delivery
Overarching responsibility for the dispatch of Power resources to safely execute work including connections, maintenance, capital replacement,
projects and augmentation for the distributed power network assets and generation, to the required quality.
Overarching responsibility for the dispatch of Power resources to safely execute work related to meter replacement, connection and disconnections,
and substations, to the required quality. Delivers power testing and protection services.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualification and Skills Experience
Essential • Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant discipline combined with relevant • Significant demonstrated work experience at the

senior executive experience, or equivalent combination of substantial senior executive level in Power Services strategy,
relevant senior executive experience and education/training planning, asset management and service delivery
