About the Role

We are looking for a talented, friendly, and reliable Makeup Artist to join our growing creative studio. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beauty, enjoys working with people, and has strong experience creating natural, Korean, Chinese, and other Asian-inspired makeup looks. You will be responsible for both makeup application and hair styling while providing clients with a welcoming, professional, and enjoyable experience throughout their photoshoot.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional makeup and hair styling services for a variety of photoshoots, including graduation, corporate headshots, fashion, family, and creative portraits
- Create makeup and hairstyles tailored to each client's features, preferences, and the style of the photoshoot
- Consult with clients before each session to understand their desired look
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness for all makeup tools, hair styling equipment, and products
- Ensure workstations are clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Work closely with photographers to ensure styling complements the lighting, wardrobe, and creative direction
- Deliver exceptional customer service and help clients feel comfortable and confident throughout their experience

Requirements

- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (essential)
- Strong experience in Asian-style makeup, including natural, Korean,



Chinese, and Japanese-inspired looks
- Proficient in hair styling for studio photoshoots (essential)
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident communicating with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Skilled, reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced studio environment
- A portfolio showcasing previous makeup and hair styling work is highly desirable
