Queensland Hire and Event Rentals deliver marquees, structures, furniture, and infrastructure for events across South East Queensland. From festivals and corporate events to weddings and large-scale activations — we don’t just deliver equipment, we help build the entire event.

About the Role

This is NOT your standard driving job. We’re looking for HR/MR Truck Drivers who are also willing to get out of the truck and work with the crew on-site. You’ll be involved in:

- Delivering equipment
- Building event infrastructure
- Packing down after events

Key Responsibilities

- Start/finish at depot - Coopers Plains or Murarrie
- Drive company trucks to event sites across SE QLD
- Load, transport, and unload event equipment
- Assist with installation of marquees, flooring, and furniture
- Work in a crew to set up and pack down events
- TRAIN to become a SITE LEADER following training checks
- Support warehouse operations as required




- Follow safety procedures and timelines on-site

Skills & Requirements

- MR or HR Truck Licence (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
- Flexible availability (early starts, weekends, long days)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Desirable (Highly Regarded)

- Forklift licence
- Experience in events, construction, removals, or labouring
- Experience securing loads / using restraints
