About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Underground Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities across both surface and underground operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team in a agile mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform workplace inspections, fault finding, testing, and pre-start checks to ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.
- Carry out all electrical work in accordance with statutory requirements, technical standards, site procedures, and industry best practice.
- Provide guidance and supervision to Trades Assistants and Apprentices while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Complete required documentation, including shift reports, JSAs, Safe Stops, and promptly report incidents, hazards, accidents, and near misses.
- Actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, safety meetings,



and other operational meetings to promote a strong safety culture and effective communication.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding within an underground mining environment.
- Current WA Electrical Licence, Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue and First Aid & CPR.
- Demonstrated experience with high-voltage electrical systems and underground mining equipment.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete work safely and efficiently.
