Position Title: Vascular Scrub / Scout Nurse

Reporting To: Nursing Unit Manager

Terms: Part Time/Full Time/Casual

Remuneration: EBA Wyvern Private Hospital

We provide amazing experiences for nurses aspiring to gain further experience in our areas of
spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, pain management, ENT and
plastics, both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

As a Vascular Scrub/Scout Nurse you’ll work collaboratively with an exceptional team to deliver
high quality nursing care to patients.

We are looking to offer Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time and Casual contracts to the
right candidates, with the ability to commit to a rotating roster including AM, PM shifts and an on-
call requirement.

As a Vascular Scrub/Scout Nurse you’ll have the following skills:

- A genuine passion to work in a collaborative team on Vascular / Cardiac procedures

- One to two years' experience in a Vascular / Cath Lab setting





- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure

- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

- Effective assessment of patients and ability to respond effectively and decisively to meet

individual patient needs
- Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely

fashion
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

- Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

- A excellent sense of teamwork and effective communication skills

- Current ALS certification is desirable

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & SKILLS

3. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered

Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience

- Valid Working with Children Check

- National Police Check

- 100-point ID check

- Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)

- Proof of vaccinations
