Compound Electrical Pty ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a 1st or 2nd Year electrical apprentice based in Tamworth NSW.
You will have the opportunity to learn new skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, working alongside professionals in the industry.
What you will be doing
- Assisting qualified electricians with the installation maintenance and repair renewable energy systems and equipment
- Gaining practical hands-on experience in various electrical tasks such as wiring, testing and troubleshooting.
- Participating in theorical and practical training to acquire the knowledge and skills to become a qualified electrician over a 4 year apprenticeship.
- Adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working workplace.
- Assisting the team with various heavy manual handling tasks, such as loading and unloading solar panels, batteries, aluminium rail and edge protection etc.
- Some away work will be required, with accommodation and meal allowance provided.
- You will be working outdoors in the elements the majority of the time.

- Commitment to health and safety requirements
- Ability to work well with others
- Driver's License and reliable transport is required
- Commitment to both on and off-the-job training
- Working away from home will be required on occasions
- Working overtime will be required on occasions
- White Card is madatory
Applicants with the following will be highly regarded:
- Completion of Year 12
- Proven Electrical Interest
- Forklift License
- Pre-Apprenticeship Qualification
- Manual Drivers License
- Working Safely at Heights Certificate
