- Key Responsibilities,
- Prepare and cook café-style meals, snacks, and daily specials.
- Assist with menu planning and contribute new ideas for food presentation.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage stock rotation, ordering, and minimising wastage.
- Support and train junior staff where needed.
- Assist in front-of-house during peak times (if required).
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience as a café chef, cook, or all-rounder.
- Robust knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude and passion for good food and customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
