The Role: Join our team as an Occupational Therapist and work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to conduct assessments, offer interventions, and collaborate with families, educators, professionals, and support staff. This full-time position provides flexibility in working arrangements for the suitable candidate, within a supportive and engaging work environment.
Duties:
- Assist children and adolescents (and their families)
with disabilities or developmental delays to achieve increased functional independence and social participation.
- Provide interventions, including assessments, recommendations, and therapy/training.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve optimal outcomes for participants and their individual goals.
Requirements:
- Full and current AHPRA registration.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and families to ensure enjoyable and engaging therapy sessions.
- Dedication to career development.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
