About the Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out routine servicing, logbook servicing and scheduled maintenance.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.

· Inspect, test and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering and braking systems.

· Perform wheel alignments, tyre fitting and balancing.

· Use diagnostic scan tools to identify and rectify faults.

· Conduct road tests where required.

· Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

· Maintain a clean and safe workshop workplace.

· Work collaboratively with other workshop staff to deliver quality customer service.

Essential Requirements

· At least 5 years' full-time relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).

· Trade qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.





· Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.

· Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, steering and brake repairs.

· Experience using modern diagnostic equipment.

· Wheel alignment and tyre fitting experience.

· Current driver's licence (or ability to obtain one).

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced workshop.

Auto Parts Service Center is an approved Standard Business Sponsor (SBS). Visa sponsorship may be available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate under the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand (SID) visa, subject to meeting all legislative requirements.
