The Employer:

Our clients are a family-run broadacre cropping and livestock operation spanning approximately 5,000 hectares. The farm is located in the Victorian Southern Mallee Region, just 25 kilometres north of Birchip, and has recently invested in modern Case machinery and infrastructure.

They are passionate about running an efficient, timely, productive, and sustainable operation. Cropping a variety of cereals, legumes and oilseeds such as wheat, barley, lentils, canola, and vetch, they also have a livestock program.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Multi-Combination (MC) Truck Driver for the upcoming seasonal grain harvest, running from early November through late December. In this critical role, you will be responsible for transporting grain to on-farm local storage facilities and nearby grain receival sites. Operating HC or MC configurations (MC highly preferred), you must demonstrate absolute compliance with all site and road safety protocols. Maintaining a high standard of situational awareness is essential to ensuring a safe workplace.

The Offer

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate based on prior experience, as well as a farm cottage and an evening harvest meal.

You will be just 25 km from the country town of Birchip, a charming farming community with a swimming pool, nearby recreational lakes, and key amenities such as a supermarket, sporting facilities, a pub, and cafes.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have previous experience operating as a grain harvest truck driver, enthusiasm, and the following skills and attributes:

- Maintain an efficient, timely work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to work to a high standard.
- Work effectively and independently when needed while also contributing to a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A willingness to adhere to WHS procedures.
- MC license preferred; HC minimum.
