genU is looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

- Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them
- Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration
- Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
- Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What You’ll Bring

- Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
- Extensive experience working with challenging behaviours
- An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
- Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
- Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
- Significant personal or Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience




- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

Bonus points for

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC33021, CHC33015, CHC43121, CHC43115]

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
