We're seeking experienced Qualified Electricians to join the Sydney Metro Maintenance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on state of-the-art rolling stock, expand your rail industry experience, and become part of a supportive, safety-focused team with a global leader in transport.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining Sydney Metro rolling stock to the highest safety and quality standards, ensuring trains remain reliable and ready for passenger service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Component replacement and overhaul
- Uploading and downloading train software
Completing all maintenance activities in accordance with strict safety and quality procedures

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
- Must have NSW Electrical Contractor Licence
- Robust electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, heavy maintenance, automation, or rolling stock environments.
Rail industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Location: Rouse Hill Depot (with occasional travel to Sydenham Depot)

Roster: Rotating every two weeks: Day Shift: 6 AM – 2 PM Afternoon Shift: 2 PM – 10 PM Night Shift: 10 PM – 6 AM

Interview Process: Successful applicants will complete:

- Onsite interview with the hiring team
- Practical assessment involving electrical wiring diagram interpretation

Following a successful interview, you'll complete:

- Category 1 Rail Medical
- Police Check
- Standard pre-employment checks
