Manager – Full time

KOMEYUI is seeking an experienced Manager to lead front-of-house operations at our premium Japanese restaurant in Melbourne.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for service flow, guest experience, FOH team supervision, and coordination with the kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Lead floor service during lunch and dinner
- Supervise and support FOH staff during shifts
- Conduct pre-service briefings
- Manage guest experience and service flow
- Coordinate closely with kitchen during service
- Maintain high service, hygiene, and presentation standards
- Support training and development of junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in fine dining or high-end restaurant service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Food safety awareness
- POS/booking system competency
- RSA certification
Desirable
- Japanese dining experience
- Wine or sake knowledge
- Multilingual ability
