Chef – Seahaus Kalbarri

Location: Kalbarri, Western Australia

The Seahaus Kalbarri is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our growing hospitality team from August. Couples are welcome to apply as long as one person is a qualified chef.

The Seahaus is a vibrant venue offering classic pub menu items with a modern twist. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who is comfortable cooking pub food and is interested in helping develop the kitchen & menu further, while being part of a supportive team in one of Western Australia's most beautiful coastal destinations.

About the Role

As our Chef, you will:

- Work alongside our Head Chef and independently run the kitchen on the Head Chef's days off.
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu development.
- Independently manage food preparation and kitchen operations when required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with monitoring stock levels and placing orders.
- Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff where required.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working as a Chef, preferably in an English-speaking kitchen environment.
- Is fluent in English.
- Can commit to a minimum of six months.




- Is confident cooking quality pub food.
- Is keen to contribute to menu development and help manage the kitchen as a whole.
- Holds relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Is adaptable with their roster.
- Couples are welcome to apply as long as one person is a qualified chef.
