Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Brighann Ginning is a modern cotton processing facility located near Moree, NSW. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Fitter to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or trade background who enjoys working on a diverse range of industrial machinery and equipment. About the Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation across the site.

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance.

· Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.

· Perform servicing, repairs and component replacement on plant and equipment.

· Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records.

· Work safely and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and performance.

· Participate in an on-call roster during the ginning season when required.

About You

The successful applicant will have:

· A Mechanical Fitter,



Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar trade qualification, or extensive mechanical experience.

· Robust mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.

· The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals (desirable).

· A willingness to listen, learn and develop new skills.

· A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Commitment to workplace safety.

· A current driver’s licence.

Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, processing plants or industrial maintenance is highly regarded but not essential.
