NuChange Building is a Perth-based residential building company located at Greenwood WA 6024 and residential construction sites throughout Perth. We specialise in custom homes, second-storey additions, extensions and renovation projects. We are seeking an experienced Painting Trades Worker (Painter) to join our team on a full time basis.

Key Responsibilities

· Read plans, specifications and colour schedules and assess surfaces and work requirements.

· Prepare walls, ceilings, timber, masonry and metal surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling and sealing.

· Protect surrounding surfaces and safely erect and use ladders and access equipment.

· Select, match and mix paints, stains, varnishes and other coatings.

· Apply primers, undercoats and finish coats using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.

· Inspect completed work, perform touch-ups and deliver a high-quality finish.

· Maintain tools, equipment and clean work areas.

· Work safely and coordinate with supervisors and other trades.

Skills and Experience





· Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification preferred.

· At least two years of relevant painting experience.

· Experience on residential building, extension or renovation projects.

· Strong knowledge of surface preparation, colour matching and coating application.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

· White Card and driver's licence, or ability to obtain them before commencement.
